Westfield Stamp Club - Meeting Schedule

Come to our meetings

General membership meetings are scheduled for the fourth Thursday of each month except for November (when the meeting is moved to the third Thursday because of Thanksgiving), and July and August (when the meetings are suspended for summer recess).

Members may arrive at the meetings beginning at 7:30 PM for socialization and to review the auction lots and other material which may be on display. The meeting itself begins at 8:00 PM and generally lasts until 9:30 PM. Our meetings are held in the main meeting room at the front of theWestfield Municipal Building at 425 East Broad Street, Westfield, New Jersey. Get Directions.

Jan. 24, 2013	Stamps Making History Innovations in Postal Services and Technology – both Production and Mail Handling – have given us a steady stream of changes in the printed design, production processes, paper, watermark, color, perforations and other features. This presentation highlights some of the innovative stamps (and other items) that are “First Issues” showing the changes. The material ranges from the 1840 Penny Black through the current day.
